Free Aiki Dojo Partnership

Association Building Community has agreed to support the Free Aiki Dojo and Golden Bears Aikido project in providing aikido and conflict training to anyone who chooses to come, regardless of their ability to pay. In 2014 we began to offer:

• the Peace Practices curriculum,
• Martial Nonviolence for adults in Downtown Oakland, including men of color with disabilities.
• Aikido for Balance and Confidence classes for seniors and others with movement concerns, as well as
• self-defense classes for at-risk women at the Suitcase Clinic in Berkeley.

Please consider supporting this project both from self-interest, keeping the training available near you, and as philanthropy--providing for a future for everyone in which conflict is done well.
