It is with profound regret that I must let you know that we will be moving to Texas at the end of July. We have begun grieving, packing, hanging-out, and being overwhelmed by the vulnerability and potential for change associated with this move. I am going back to the land that gave me birth, and will be providing executive leadership, speaking and teaching students of all ages, and writing, as I spend more time with the family I love so dearly. I cannot adequately express how much you, my teachers, students, and colleagues have meant to me since moving to California in 1995.
Contact me right away to schedule anything that needs to happen in June or July, or anything you need to bring to our attention, so that I may attempt to follow up and make arrangements. If we don't make contact before August, I will look forward to seeing you when next we meet, wherever that may be. If you’d like updates about
Peace Practices,
Conflict Done Well, and my other adventures in teamwork and social justice, please be sure to subscribe at

There is more to all of this, obviously. If you want to read more and deeply into what happens next, I cannot ask sincerely enough that you stay within my circle of friends. I'll be writing more at
Culturesmith.com, with the more detailed and personal material protected by the need to sign-in. Please request an account via
http://culturesmith.com/account/signup or sign in, if you already have an account. I will approve and welcome you, after which you will also have access to all kinds of fascinating materials for cultural study, should that interest you.
Please train whenever you can in the next two months, and connect with me during this time of profound transition.
Love,
Sensei
Please remember: All Golden Bears Aikido classes are Free Aiki Dojo classes, and vice versa. We are a single training community. Brandon Sensei teaches all classes, unless otherwise noted, and also highly recommends (you are always welcome to train in) any class at Aikido of Berkeley. When you train in a class there taught by someone other than Brandon Sensei, please leave a $10-$15 donation in the wooden box on the cabinet near the front door.
