7-8am Free Aiki Dojo - Taught by Brandon Sensei (Hosted by Aikido of Berkeley 1514 University Ave)
Tobin Threadgill is head of Takamura ha Shindo Yoshin Kai, a classical budo school which includes weapon training and tactics associated with the warrior class of late Edo period Japan. This style of jujutsu develops themes underlying bujutsu, in general, and shares elements with Wado-ryu karate and the Daito Ryu aikijutsu from which aikido was formulated.

I am a student at Yamakage Dojo, practicing Takamura ha Shindo Yoshin Ryu (TSYR) under the direction of Ash Morgan Sensei, and am very happy to have the privilege once more of hosting Kaicho Threadgill Friday through Sunday this weekend. Thanks again to Kayla Sensei for welcoming TSYR at Aikido of Berkeley!
Friday November 10th, 2017:
Session One from 6:30-8:30pm is free to all students of Free Aiki Dojo - Golden Bears Aikido, and Aikido of Berkeley, and is hosted by Aikido of Berkeley at 1514 University Ave. PLEASE COME!
Saturday and Sunday, November 11th and 12th, 2017
All regular classes at Aikido of Berkeley and Free Aiki Dojo will be cancelled this weekend, in order to host the seminar. Please join us again next weekend.

We look forward to training with you!

Please remember: All Golden Bears Aikido classes are Free Aiki Dojo classes, and vice versa. We are a single training community. Brandon Sensei teaches all classes, unless otherwise noted, and also highly recommends (you are always welcome to train in) any class at Aikido of Berkeley. When you train in a class there taught by someone other than Brandon Sensei, please leave a $10-$15 donation in the wooden box on the cabinet near the front door.
