Log Entry+Instructions

Please: 

  1. use +Plans to sketch out your day based on what you remember and are thinking. Please estimate the time you will devote to each portion of work.
  2. consult your +My To Do for the specific names of the tasks you will move forward today
  3. toss thoughts that need development in +Notes to be cleared at the end of the day. In what Project do they fit? Please look behind the gear of the Project card in the "manage" area. Is there already a task in place that will work?
  4. cut and paste task names into your +Task card list. The system will verify that your text matches the name of an existing task of, upon saving, offer you the opportunity to create a new task and link it to a Project. Configure tasks in the order you intend to address each, so others can get an idea about what you might do when.
  5. as you begin a task (even if you will go back and forth through day) cut and paste the precise task name into your Time Tracking using double brackets to make each a link to the relevant card. This allows tracking of the life of each task. Notes about specifics go in the Task and not in your Time Tracking.

Tips:

  1. Save new cards right away, even when incomplete. Draft autosaves don't begin until the card exists. If something happens (accidental click that reloads or leaves your page, browser error or auto-refresh of a tab not viewed in a while, etc.) any text in a new card that hasn't been saved will be lost.
