For over a decade ABC has provided nonprofit leadership, offered fiscal sponsorship for community building initiatives, and acted as an intentional distributed community devoted to developing the process arts for social justice and conflict facilitation training. Toward this end we conduct public and private dialogues, such as the recent events with Huston Smith, as well as connecting process arts professionals with individuals and groups ready to work through conflict toward the kind of peace which is impossible without learning conflict done well. Every minute/dollar donated to ABC deepens and strengthens the sustainable capacity of your community to respond creatively to difficulty and difference.
At this time, ABC is in a period of uncertainty, is reduced to a minimal Board of Directors, is rewriting this website and putting in place the tools for new marketing, and considering various potential futures. Please be patient with us as we recruit, ponder, listen, wait, and discern. Many of the pages on this brand new website, for instance, are waiting to be re-written to reflect what we hope will be a renewed process of consensus.
